3DeVOK MT Gen2 Advanced 3D Scanner
On August 28, Formnext Asia Shenzhen 2026, a major additive manufacturing event in the Asia-Pacific region, came to a successful close at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an). As a key Asia-Pacific exhibition under the Formnext brand from Germany, the event brought together more than 350 3D printing and 3D digitalization companies from China and around the world, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and practical applications in additive manufacturing and 3D scanning.
3DeVOK, the professional 3D scanning brand under Scanology, made a strong appearance at Booth C71 with its newly upgraded MT Gen2 quad-light portable 3D scanner. Exhibiting alongside UnionTech, 3DeVOK presented a complete workflow covering 3D scanning, reverse engineering/creative design, and 3D printing for intelligent manufacturing. Over the three-day event, the booth welcomed a large number of industry professionals, partners, and media representatives.

On the first day of the exhibition, 3DeVOK officially unveiled the MT Gen2, its next-generation portable 3D scanner. The scanner features a quad-light architecture consisting of 34-line blue cross lasers, 11-line blue parallel lasers, a single blue laser line, and large-area infrared structured light, enabling it to handle a wide range of scanning requirements, from complex precision components and deep holes, grooves, and hard-to-reach areas to medium- and large-sized objects.
With accuracy of up to 0.03 mm and detail resolution of up to 0.05 mm, the MT Gen2 delivers high-quality 3D data for demanding applications. An optional wireless handle is also available, eliminating cable constraints and making the scanner better suited to on-site applications such as automotive customization and the scanning of large industrial components.

Throughout the exhibition, 3DeVOK conducted live scanning demonstrations using real-world samples, focusing on three key application scenarios: automotive customization, reverse engineering, and 3D measurement. Visitors were able to see firsthand how physical objects are captured as point clouds and converted into 3D meshes.
The resulting 3D models can be directly imported into QUICKSURFACE through the accompanying 3DeVOK Studio software, demonstrating how 3D scanning data can be seamlessly applied to practical workflows such as CAD reconstruction, dimensional inspection, and deviation analysis.
A futuristic robotic girl installation also became one of the highlights of the booth. Its eye-catching technology-inspired design attracted many visitors who stopped to take photos, watch the scanning demonstrations, and experience the technology firsthand, keeping the booth busy throughout the event.

During the exhibition, Nanjixiong 3D Printing, a leading media platform in China's 3D printing industry, visited Booth C71 for a live-streamed exhibition tour. During the livestream, 3DeVOK's on-site engineers introduced the key technical features of the MT Gen2 quad-light 3D scanner, demonstrated the complete scanning workflow, and highlighted real-world applications such as 3D restoration of cultural heritage artifacts and reverse measurement for automotive applications.
The engineers also interacted with online viewers and answered questions in real time, allowing industry professionals who could not attend the exhibition in person to learn about the new product and its key technologies. The livestream further expanded the industry's reach and visibility of 3DeVOK's participation in the event.

Over the three-day exhibition, Booth C71 welcomed numerous engineers, R&D professionals, corporate procurement representatives, and independent creators. Many visitors brought real-world project requirements related to automotive customization, reverse engineering, and digital preservation of cultural heritage, leading to in-depth technical discussions and potential project collaborations.
As a professional 3D scanning brand under Scanology (688583.SH), 3DeVOK is dedicated to serving professional creators and studios. Building on Scanology's extensive expertise in industrial-grade 3D scanning, 3DeVOK continues to bring high-performance 3D scanning capabilities to a wider range of real-world applications.
The company's participation in Formnext Asia Shenzhen 2026 was not only an opportunity to showcase the capabilities of the MT Gen2, but also a reflection of 3DeVOK's core philosophy: 3D scanning should go beyond digital data acquisition. High-quality 3D data should ultimately create real value across downstream workflows, including design, customization, inspection, and cultural heritage preservation.

Formnext Asia Shenzhen 2026 has now come to a successful close, but the exchange of ideas and opportunities for collaboration will continue.
Thank you to everyone who visited Booth C71, including industry professionals, partners, and Nanjixiong 3D Printing, for your support.
