Intelligent Diagnosis
The intelligent diagnosis function allows users to clearly see whether the current computer configuration (CPU processor, graphics card, drivers, memory, etc.), hardware connections (computer power supply, device connections, etc.) meet the requirements of the specifications, as well as device license status. If any abnormalities occur, corresponding prompts will appear to guide users to make improvements, ensuring smooth scanning.
Seamless Switching
The software supports seamless switching among scanning project, point cloud, mesh, and texture modules after the whole scanning process. For example, if details are insufficient after generating data, you can return to the scanning project to continue the scan or reset the resolution to produce a higher-resolution point cloud. This allows you to obtain brand new data without the need to create a new scanning project.
Segment Model N-Point Registration
When segmental scanning and stitching are needed (e.g., for very large objects exceeding data limits or for stitching the front and back of small objects), the software supports N-point (no less than 3 points) registration and alignment of point cloud project files. It enables stitching based on common geometric features or markers, creating a complete model. When stitching two colored point cloud projects, the complete color texture is retained, creating a high-definition colored 3D model after fusion.
Snapshot Material Ball Display
The snapshot material ball function allows you to change the material display of STL mesh models. Eight different material balls allow 3D models to be displayed in a richer and more interesting way. By adjusting the valley and ridge lines of the material ball mask, you can make the model display different artistic details, making the model details more three-dimensional.
Universal Data Formats
The software supports exporting common universal formats: point cloud format (.asc), triangle mesh format (.obj, .stl, .ply), and marker point data (mk2). Among them, .stl and .obj format data can be imported into 3D design software for modification and redesign, and can also be directly used for 3D printing, CNC engraving and processing, etc.
Automatic Saving and Data Recovery
During real-time scanning, the software automatically saves the project file in real time. When suffering from an unexpected software quit, data can be recovered by reopening the software, reducing the trouble caused by accidental crashes.
